No, you do not need to be home. In fact, most of our clients are busy or at work during the day. As long as we have access to your yard (please ensure any gates are unlocked on your service day and pets are indoors or secured), our team can perform the full service. We will mow, trim, edge, and clean up just as thoroughly as if you were watching. You’ll come home to a beautifully mowed lawn. If we run into any issues (for example, a gate is locked or a dog is in the yard), we’ll reach out to you. Otherwise, you can enjoy your day while we take care of the mowing!

We keep a close eye on the weather. If heavy rain or thunderstorms are expected on your service day, we will reschedule your mowing to the nearest possible dry day. Mowing a soaked lawn isn’t good for the grass or our equipment (wet clippings can clog mowers and cause damage), so we avoid it. We’ll usually get in touch to inform you of any weather delays. Rest assured, we’ll make sure your lawn is cut as soon as conditions allow, so it never gets overly long. Light rain or a few showers are usually okay – our team will use their judgment and always put the health of your lawn first.

Absolutely! We offer one-time and on-demand lawn mowing services. Not everyone needs an ongoing contract, and we understand that. You might just need a single cut before hosting an event, or maybe your mower broke and you need help this week – whatever the reason, we’re happy to assist. Simply contact us to let us know what you need, and we’ll schedule a convenient time to mow your lawn. There’s no long-term commitment required for on-demand cuts. Of course, once you see how nice your lawn looks, you’re welcome to set up regular service, but that choice is entirely up to you!

By default, our mowing service mulches the grass clippings and leaves them on the lawn, which is beneficial for your grass. Mulched clippings break down quickly and return nutrients like nitrogen to the soil, acting as a free organic fertilizer. They’re usually not noticeable after mowing, as we cut with a mulching mower that distributes the tiny clippings evenly. However, if you prefer the clippings to be removed, we can absolutely do that. We offer an optional bagging service where our mower catches the clippings and we haul them away. Just let us know your preference when signing up. There is a small extra fee for bagging to cover disposal, but many homeowners opt for it if they want that ultra-clean look with no clippings visible on the lawn. The choice is yours – either way, we’ll make sure your lawn looks fantastic when we’re done.
